Duties And Skill Requirements

Analyze the customers’ technical requirements to create a manufacturing plan for fabrication or assembly of products by performing the following duties.

  • Study engineering blueprints, drawings, models and other specifications to determine customer requirements.
  • Review technical and non-technical documents that relate to contracts, specifications, purchasing, product design, manufacture and test and incorporate the requirements into the manufacturing plans.
  • Coordinate technical questions and corrections with MTM sales and the Customers engineering representatives.
  • Apply knowledge of functions, and processes of various departments and capacities of machines and equipment to determine the sequence of operations for fabrication or assembly of product.
  • Determine if operations require subcontractor involvement. Specify the specific work scope and requirements for all subcontracted operations.
  • List operations to be performed on manufacturing plan, indicate machine or equipment to be used, estimate time to set-up and perform each operation.
  • Specify type of material to be used, determine the material requirements for part fabrication, considering part size, and method of fabrication.
  • Direct and coordinate quality planning activities.
  • Posts change to computerized or manual control records, release documents and notify affected departments.
  • Support the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with quality, industrial and government standards and regulations.
  • Releases manufacturing plans and supporting documentation to authorized departments.
  • Support manufacturing operations and subcontractors by clarifying requirements and improving manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Compile and maintain control of records relating to customer drawing specifications, part lists, and customer supplied product/process supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and control process specification documents and data.
  • Assists in determining adequate parts inventory requirements for customers.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
  • Observe the safety rules and regulations and wear the required safety equipment.

Education And/or Experience

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training/ or combination of education and experience.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Public Accountant (CPA) role based in Lubbock, TX. The CPA will manage day-to-day accounting functions, including preparing and analyzing financial statements and overseeing general ledger activities. Responsibilities include tax preparation and compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance for construction and development projects. The role involves collaborating with project managers and leadership to provide financial insights, ensure accurate cost tracking, and support strategic decision-making. The CPA will also maintain adherence to relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated experience with Financial Statements, including preparation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Tax Preparation and related compliance for business entities.
  • Active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) credential, or eligibility and intent to obtain CPA licensure.
  • Experience with accounting software and Excel, including reconciliations and financial modeling.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; experience in construction or real estate development is a plus.
